It’s is a voyage or an adventure of exploration and discovery! ഀ
Join us as we explore the natural history, ecology and culture of the Delmarva Peninsula. With the help of satellites and cameras you can follow our adventurer, environmental scientist, John Wik, as he circumnavigates the peninsula in his small boat. ഀ
During his month-long trip you can follow John as he explores from New Castle, DE to Cape Charles, VA and then up the Chesapeake Bay. ഀ
Along the way John Wik and his crew will talk to scientists, boat builders, history experts, and many other people. ഀ
Get regular updates on John’s location and see interviews with the experts he meets along the way. John will also keep a journal so that you can learn about the plants and animals he encounters on his adventure. ഀ
